Reading Reflections Journal

The Reading Reflections Journal was created to solve my problem of journaling about my favorite novels in a never-ending notes app. I created this journal to give readers a structured outline to remember and enjoy their favorite romance, fantasy, and fiction novels. Upon initial creation, I gave out numerous copies to observe how people use and respond to each of the prompts and create changes where needed.

This journal combines layout, branding, and user experience testing to create a strong product to aid readers to enjoy and reflect on all sorts of novels.

User Experience Research

I used the journal myself and had many others use it in order to understand which content was successful. This experience taught me a lot about user research and design approaching different users. Many people especially on the “Who am I” page approached it entirely differently than I intended. Through this testing, I created a productive and well-working final product.
